Kimberley graduated from the University of Iowa in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and earned her Juris Doctorate from IIT Chicago Kent in 1991.
Kimberley worked as a prosecutor for 11 years and has spent 15 years in private practice. She joined forces with the late Martha J. Danhausen in 2002, and after her untimely passing, took on representation of much of Ms. Danhausen’s clientele.
Throughout her career she has dedicated herself to giving a voice to those in need. From speeding to murder, Kimberley has tried over 1000 cases both as a prosecutor and as defense counsel. She represents both husbands or wives, and mothers or fathers in family law cases. As a mother herself, Kim can appreciate the real concerns of parenting.
Along with her growing private practice, Kimberley is also the city attorney for Momence, adjudication hearing officer for the City of Kankakee and Village of Wilmington. Kim is also a certified mediator helping parties resolve their disputes outside the courtroom.
